No one needs to know
Always on your toe
Maybe because you know one day you'll have to go
When? Who knows

Ignored those who loved you
Only to please those who used you
Turned a blind eye on everything
You once said the most important thing in this world was breathing

Going out with "friends"
Meant that you had to spend
Using you was the trend
So you pretend
To lend
So you could blend
When it will ever end
Deep down you knew this was all a pretend
They say 'this is just for lend'
Surely you don't want to send
Away your true friends
So sit up straight and make this all go away
Do these even make sense?

Missing those who called your name
Missing those who liked you even when you were lame
Missing those who made you feel like you had a fame, well let's just say those who didn't blame
Those who cared for you even though you were ashamed
Maybe this is all a way to say you had aims
A way to show who you was and what you became
You played a role but ended up losing the game

You remembered everything
What you received was just a thing
A thing that allowed you to bring
Well obviously that's what they all wanted
They wanted you to give

We don't have to change to make people like us
It's ok for you to miss the bus
No big deal so make no fuss
Have trust
Not just in those who love you but for yourself first, is a must
